Websites for independent food businesses
Paying 30%+
in platform fees?
Bring your regulars direct.
You made the food. You earned the regulars. Give them your own website to order again. Keep delivery apps where they bring value, with Fuudster as a direct route back to you.
Uber Eats’ published UK rates: 30% for Uber Delivery; 33% for Uber One orders, excluding VAT. Other arrangements differ. Direct ordering still has website, payment and fulfilment costs. Source: Uber Eats UK, checked 25 September 2026.

The ordering experience they know. Under your name.
Your food, properly presented.
A menu people can read on their phone. Your photographs, your story, clear prices and opening hours. Give someone enough confidence to choose you before they reach the counter.
A direct route back to you.
Put your website on your packaging, receipts and social profiles. When someone loves their first meal, make their next visit easy: a menu, a booking or an order under your name.
A clearer home for local discovery.
Bring your menu, address, opening hours and contact details together on pages search engines can read. Keep those details consistent with your Google Business Profile. Visibility takes work; a website gives that work a destination.
More control over the customer journey.
Choose how your food is presented and where each action leads. Keep delivery platforms where they earn their place, while giving customers who already know you a direct route.

Make the numbers work for your business.
Direct orders can change what you pay to reach and serve a customer. The useful comparison includes every cost: the website, payment processing, delivery, promotions and the time your team spends handling orders.
Start with customers who already know you. Measure completed orders, repeat visits and money left after costs. Moving an existing order to a different channel is different from winning a new customer.
Before you switch anything on
- Check the menu, prices, opening hours and collection or delivery arrangements.
- Make dietary questions and the route to accurate allergen information clear.
- Try the whole journey on a customer’s phone and the kitchen’s actual devices.
- Agree who handles changes, support and orders that cannot be fulfilled.

Plan your restaurant website
Menus, bookings and local discovery for an independent restaurant.
A few things worth knowing.
Do I need a website if I already use delivery apps?
A delivery app can help people discover you. Your own website gives existing customers a direct place to find your current menu, opening hours, location and ordering or booking route. The two can work together. Compare the full cost of each channel before moving orders.
What is Fuudster?
Fuudster is Ampliflow’s direct-ordering product for UK takeaways and restaurants. Its product experience brings together a branded menu, an ordering journey, kitchen tools and a business overview. Explore the demonstration, then discuss the setup your business needs.
Can I start taking live orders immediately?
Live ordering needs a configured and tested setup for your business. Payments, collection or delivery, menu information and the kitchen handover must be checked before activation. A product demonstration is not confirmation that your business is ready to trade.
Will my website bring in new customers?
A website gives your search, social and word-of-mouth activity somewhere useful to send people. It still needs accurate information, promotion and a clear customer journey. Neither a new website nor Fuudster guarantees rankings, orders or revenue.
Is this only for takeaways?
Fuudster focuses on direct ordering for takeaways and restaurants. A café, pub, caterer or another independent food business may need a different journey: visits, table bookings, private dining or event enquiries. Start with what you want customers to do.
